Miami's Hottest Hotels

As one of the trendiest and most popular tourist destinations in the world, Miami, Florida is home to some of the most exciting places to lay your head at night. Hotels in Miami are often more than just a comfortable place to stay. Many of them are an experience unto themselves.

Miami is one of the world's hottest and most fashionably hip places to take a vacation. From the cool vibe along Ocean Drive in South Beach to the myriad attractions throughout the greater Miami area, South Florida's most popular city boasts a plethora of great hotels.

When you are planning your trip to Miami it is important to keep in mind that many of the hotels reflect the party atmosphere that has come to define the town. But there are plenty of other accommodation options available to suit just about every taste and lifestyle.

The name J. Wallace Tutt III is certainly not a household name by any stretch but the name Gianni Versace is. It was Tutt who designed Versace's former mansion on Ocean Drive and he also designed the Angler's Boutique Resort in the up-and-coming South of Fifth neighborhood.

Crafted in early 20th century Mediterranean-style architecture, the Angler's rooms are spacious and very cozy. Some are downright enormous three-story villas with spiral staircases leading up to rooftop bathrooms and showers.

The Betsy in South Beach combines colonial style with a very inviting tropical aesthetic. Rooms at the Betsy feature walnut floors, Malin+Goetz amenities, and large flat screen TVs built into mirrored walls.

The Fontainebleau has been a Miami mainstay hotel for since the 1950s when the Rat Pack was known to stay there when they were in town. The hotel received a whopping $1 billion upgrade in 2008 and has become one of the most exclusive hotels in the entire country.

The Fontainebleau has over 1,500 rooms each with a 20-inch iMac and top-shelf amenities and its giant dance club and 1950s noir decor help make it one of the most fascinating places to spend your vacation in Miami.

There are literally hundreds of hotel accommodation options in the great city of Miami but if you want something a little bit out-of-the-ordinary for your next Miami vacation, any of these unique hotels are sure to be just what you are looking for.
